Jasmonicacid(JA)isacriticalhormonalregulatorofplantgrowthanddefense.Toadvanceourunderstandingofthearchitecture(体系结构)anddynamicregulationoftheJAgeneregulatorynetwork,weperformedahigh-resolutionRNA-SeqtimeseriesofmethylJA(茉莉酸甲酯)-treatedArabidopsisthalianaat5timepointsovera6-hperiod.Computationalanalysis(计算分析)showedthatMeJAinducesaburstoftranscriptionalactivity,generatingdiverseexpressionpatternsovertimethatpartitioninto(划分)distinctsectors(领域)oftheJAresponsetargetingspecificbiologicalprocesses.Thepresenceoftranscriptionfactor(TF)DNA-bindingmotifscorrelatedwithspecificTFactivityduringtemporal(暂存的)MeJA-inducedtranscriptionalreprogramming.Insightintotheunderlyingdynamictranscriptionalregulationmechanismswascapturedinachronologicalmodel(时序模型)oftheJAgeneregulatorynetwork.SeveralTFs,includingMYB59andbHLH27,wereuncovered(发现)asearlynetwork
